Kaylee
Kaylee works full-time as an administrative assistant at a car dealership. She has missed several days of work recently for obligations with their kids that Josh refuses to deal with. While she has been at her job since she and Josh got married, she is afraid that she may lose her job if she has to miss more work.
Since Josh is currently unemployed and not in school, Kaylee feels a great deal of pressure being the sole bread winner for the family. She and Josh have been fighting since he returned from Iraq, which is not typical of their marriage. She feels like she is reaching out to him, and not getting much in return. Kaylee feels that when she returns home from work every day, even though Josh has been at home, he hasn’t done much to help out around the house, so she feels like she is spread thin. Furthermore, she notices that Josh is not himself and that he is not putting much effort into being there for their kids. She is concerned about this, as well as with his recent increase in drinking. Kaylee knew that returning from the war would be difficult, but she had no idea how much it would impact their lives.
